How do you communicate with parents?

We use an application called “Daily Connect.” for daily communication with parents. Upon acceptance, parent(s) will be invited to register for an account. This application facilitates seamless download/uploading of admission documents, billing and most importantly communication! You can message teachers directly, receive photos in real time, and catch up with a daily summary at the end of the day.

What happens when it rains?

We are not afraid of the rain unless there is nearby thunder & lightening. We STILL go on nature walks but we use umbrellas, ponchos and more! We will spend time inside as well when we bring the outdoors indoor with out nature scape building blocks.

What does the community snack consist of?

Well-balanced snacks usually include whole grains (cereal bar, whole crackers, etc) and fresh produce.

What to bring?

Change of clothes. diapers (dry bag) and wipes, reusable water bottle, lunch, outdoor clothes (keep weather in mind), and optional “loved” item for story time. No weather is considered bad when it comes to outdoor schools. However, it is good to keep in mind that your child will spend most, if not all, of their day outside. Therefore, it is wise to invest in the appropriate type of gear to ensure your child stays comfortable in all weather conditions.

What are the staff-student ratio?

We pride ourselves in low staff to student ratios to provide optimal quality care. The maximum ratio of teacher to children is 4:1, but often times this ratio is lower.
